Justin Davies, Custom Saddlemaker - Three Forks, Montana Born and raised in Wyoming, Justin Davies has long valued the cowboy way of life and understands the authenticity and pride of quality cowboy gear. While in college at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, Justin worked summers at the Diamond 4 Ranch and Three Quarter Circle Ranch in Lander, Wyoming. After college, he went to work on Veltkamp Livestock Co. for 4 years. During that time, he started to learn the art of building custom saddles. Since 2000, Justin has built saddles for pickup men, pen riders, saddle collectors, ropers, barrel racers, and ranchers. In 2005, he opened Four D Saddlery, now known as Justin Davies Custom Saddles. In 2006, Justin was awarded the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association Scholarship. With the scholarship, he had the honor of working with master saddlemaker and member of the TCAA (Traditional Cowboy Arts Association), Cary Schwarz from Salmon, Idaho. Justin and his wife, Lora, an equine photographer, live in Three Forks, Montana. All of Justin's experiences and learning has led him to strive for excellence in saddle building and work everyday to improve and learn his trade. As many cowboy cultures are scattering to the wind, Justin makes it his mission to keep traditional values and practices part of his everyday life. His saddles reflect these values with top-of-the-line craftsmanship paired with everyday practicality and usefulness. Only a cowboy knows the importance of a good horse and a good saddle that can get the job done...
